Norwegian native and bunadtilvirker (bunadmaker) Gina A. Nylund will be visiting Salt Lake City to answer your questions and get you started on your bunad journey.
After taking many classes with Sue of Bunad Butikken in Minnesota, Gina was offered the chance to start her own adventure. She has taken eight classes in Norway to become a bunadtilvirker (bunadmaker). She completed her own Lundeby bunad in 2016 and has made two more cotton bunads since. As of September 2025, she has taught more than 32 classes and helped more than 60 women make their bunads in more than 30 different bunad styles.
