Each year, Sons of Norway joins with the Syttende Mai committee to prepare the Norway section of the International Peace Gardens for Syttende Mai. Typically, we try to do this dugnad (service project) on the Saturday before Syttende Mai, but this year we have had to move the date to May 3rd to accommodate the Flower Parade of SLC 2025 being held on May 10th. This event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, but there will be people there as early as 9 a.m. if that works better for your schedule.
Among the work we will be doing:
Minor repairs to the stabbur
Heavy weeding around the stabbur
Laying gravel around the stabbur
