Om arrangementet

Celebrate Norwegian culture alongside cultures from around the world at The World in Bloom festival on September 19th. The Norway Garden will have music, an exhibit of Gold Medal winner Kristen Birkeland's rosemaling (Kristen will also be giving a demonstration of her craft), and other representations of Norwegian culture. We're even opening up the stabbur so you can get a glimpse inside--something we do only one other time each year.

The festival also features a flower parade representing the various gardens at the International Peace Gardens. The day will be capped with performances of dancers from around the world.

Wear your bunad, festdrakt, Norwegian sweater, or Norway-themed clothing and join the parade at 11 a.m. We will have performances of Norwegian music at 11:30 and 12:30. This event is for families of all ages.

Come support us as we support the International Peace Gardens and Salt Lake City's ongoing efforts…
