For a thousand years, pilgrims have traveled a network of trails to reach Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, where they sought blessings at Norway's main cathedral. Known collectively as pilegrimsleden, or St. Olav Ways, these nine paths take you through beautiful landscapes, cultural heritage sites, and historical areas. From pilegrimsleden.no:

Today, there are many different reasons for embarking on a pilgrimage, whether it is to spend time in nature or learn about local history.
