About the event

Celebrate Norwegian culture alongside cultures from around the world at the World in Bloom festival on September 19th. The Norway Garden will be filled with music, crafts, demonstrations, and a special exhibit of Gold Medal winner Kristen Birkeland's beautiful rosemaling.


The festival also features a flower parade representing the various gardens at the International Peace Gardens. The day will be capped with performances of dancers from around the world.


Wear your bunad, festdrakt, Norwegian sweater, or Norway-themed clothing and join the celebration. This event is for families of all ages.

About the Leif Erikson Lodge

The Leif Erikson Lodge 6-83 was formed in November 1966 to bring the benefits of Sons of Norway to Salt Lake City and surrounding areas and to assist in the preservation of Norwegian culture.
