Ever wanted to learn how to make a kransekake? Now's your chance! Perfect for any special occasion, a kransekake can be dressed up or down depending on your needs. This event will focus on how to prepare, shape, and decorate the kransekake. In addition, we will be introducing the Sons of Norway Cultural Skills Program. As you learn new skills--including baking kransekake--you will be eligible for recognition of your skills and receive a Cultural Skills pin. In addition to this month's event, you will have an additional opportunity to gain Cultural Skills in baking at our Julebakst event in November. This is a great opportunity to introduce your children and grandchildren to Norwegian baking or share your skills with others.
