Norway's recently appointed ambassador to the United States, Anniken Huitfeldt, visited Utah this past week. While here, she participated in the Ski for Light 50th Anniversary at Soldier Hollow and addressed the Ski for Light participants at Norway Night at the Provo Marriott last Friday. After her address, the ambassador sat down and visited with Sons of Norway members, sharing her experiences so far as ambassador. She was warm, funny, and generous with her time.

On Sunday, she was accompanied by Lars Johansen, the Honorary Consul for Norway in Utah, at a broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word. She also toured sites of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, visited Olympic venues in Park City, and had lunch in Deer Valley. She posted about her visit on her Instagram feed.
