Dugnad: A Day of Service

This year’s “17th of May” (Syttende Mai) celebration will be held on Saturday May 18th at the International Peace Gardens located at 10th South and 9th West , Salt Lake City. We hope you can attend and join with hundreds of others in observing Norway’s “Constitution Day” and feeling like you are in Norway for a couple of hours.

Sons of Norway will have a booth there at the park and we need some volunteers to help set up and staff the booth. Official start time is 11:00 a.m. but you are welcome to come earlier and help with the many things going on.

Sons of Norway is committed to community service and with that in mind, we have the opportunity to help out at the Peace Gardens the Saturday before the 17th of May celebration.  (Saturday May 11,  10:00am - noon). We need to clean in and around the “stabbur” and some other areas of the Norway section of the park. Thanks for your interest in Sons of Norway and your love of Norway !
