Pilegrimsleden: A Walk Through Historic Norway

ree

What could be more appealing than a walk through the Norwegian countryside of Gudbrandsdal? This presentation by Lisa Maddux, Leif Erikson Lodge vice-president and owner of Travel by Lisa, and Stewart Shelline, Sons of Norway Cultural Director, showcased the most popular of the nine St. Olav Ways in Norway, the Gudbrandsdaleden.

This 647 kilometer/403 mile trail winds from Oslo in the south to Trondheim in the North, ending at Norway's most iconic cathedral, Nidaros. We follow experienced pilgrim Nadine, from Nadine Walks, as she experiences the Gudbrandsdaleden for the first time and shares her joys and challenges on the trail. Learn more about the St. Olav Ways in the PDF below.
