Rosemaling

Come and enjoy hot chocolate and waffles in the “stabbur” and a discussion and display of many Norwegian rosemaling (rose painting ) items painted and designed by some of the best rosemalers in Norway and the U.S.  Learn about the different styles of Norwegian rosemaling and what part of Norway they represent.  Please feel free to bring a rosemaling item you might have and tell the story behind it.  We can maybe identify the style and origin of the piece.
